Keepsake Christening Gowns & Baptism Outfits
Turn your wedding dress into a one-of-a-kind heirloom for your baby’s big day—and a keepsake your family will treasure for generations.
Each christening gown is hand-crafted from your own dress fabric, lace, beading, and details. Our seamstress, Linda, works directly with you to design a piece that feels timeless, meaningful, and completely you.
How It Works (please read carefully)
Step 1 — Send a Photo + Inspiration
Email a photo of your wedding dress plus any inspiration ideas to: lindavandyke785@yahoo.com
Not every dress has enough usable material for a full christening gown, and some fabrics simply don’t translate well. This first step lets us evaluate your dress and get a feel for your vision. Linda will confirm whether your gown is a good fit for this project.
Step 2 — Design Details + Options
If your dress is a fit, Linda will contact you to go over:

Christening Gowns are $275 and include:
gown or romper
headband or bonnet
Optional add-ons:
matching dust cover: $40+ (embroidery available)
booties: $25
bib: $25
bloomers: $25
padded hanger: $20
shipping: $25 (added to your quote)
rush/expedited shipping: varies
Step 3 — Quote + Invoice
You’ll receive a quote by email. Once you approve it, you’ll receive an invoice.
Invoices are due upon receipt.
Step 4 — Mail Your Dress to Linda
Linda will provide her mailing address.
DO NOT mail your dress to Old Soul Bridal.
You must keep your tracking number until Linda confirms receipt. We can’t be responsible for lost packages. If a package is delayed or lost, please open a case directly with the carrier.
Step 5 — Dress Received + Creation Begins
Linda will email you when your dress arrives. Once she can see your dress in hand, she may reach out with follow-up questions to finalize design details.
Please allow 2–4 weeks from the time your dress is received for completion.
Step 6 — Shipping Confirmation
When your heirloom piece is finished and ready to ship, Linda will email your tracking information.
What Happens to the Rest of Your Dress?
If you’d like additional keepsake items made from your dress, you can purchase those separately on our website. Those items will be created after your christening gown is complete.

Every gown is custom and built around what your dress can give. Some dresses offer more design freedom than others, but we promise this: we’ll use every beautiful detail your dress brings, and we’ll handle it with the utmost care.
Proceeds from christening gowns and keepsakes help support The Emma & Evan Foundation and their mission to bring hope to grieving families.
Remaining Fabric Choice
After your keepsake is complete, you can choose to have the remaining fabric returned to you or donated.
If you choose to donate the remainder, it will be donated to The Emma and Evan Foundation, supporting families and hospitals through bereavement care and NICU milestones.
Giving Back
Old Soul Bridal creates keepsakes in partnership with The Emma and Evan Foundation. A portion of every purchase is donated to support their mission.
Refund/Return Policy
Because these keepsakes are custom-made, all sales are final. If we made an error, we’ll make it right.
